Lost is a post on The Hickensian

Last night I woke up with a real eureka moment, like the heavens opening and bestowing insight upon me. It was an amazing idea for a domain name, one that was clever, memorable and yet bound to be unregistered.

Following on from that, came the idea for the web service that would go with it, and what it would do. It would glue together existing web apps, and be the one to rule them all. It was something so simple and obvious, yet no one had done it.

Then came the idea for the branding, a cool logo that every would want. It would been seen on anything from skateboards to tea towels.

Then came the viral marketing campaign ideas, and promotions that would get it off the ground. It would captivate people’s imaginations on a global scale, and be sure to be bought by Yahoo, allowing Leigh and I to retire early and go back to painting, never having to look at a single scrap of code ever again.

This morning however, I haven’t a clue what it was. Might have had something do with cheese…
