Sometimes it just works.

Somedays, the little people don’t have to be negotiated with. Sometimes, Daniel doesn’t eat anything paper-based that he can find, and Samantha says “Please” and “No thankyou” in the best Grandma pleasing way.

Somedays start looking like the set of Bladerunner, but unexpectedly break out into glorious sunshine.

Somedays you’re feel that you’re caught up enough with the oppresive workload that you can stop fretting about it – for a while.

Today was one of those days. Hallelujah.

With this very much in mind, my thoughts go out to Heather and Jon.
